Each zone, apart from the starting areas, has an achievement earned by completing a certain amount of quests in that zone. Because I am a blood elf, the next zone after completing the starting zone is Ghostlands and so this will be the first quests complete achievement I do. You need to complete 50 quests in order to get this achievement. Please note that this is a horde only questing area and cannot be completed by alliance players and alliance players do not have this achievement available to them. The Ghostlands is home to both blood elves and undead. The main city is called Tranquillien and houses the zones only flight point (that will be used for loremaster there is another located outside the dungeon Zul'aman). Tranquillien is also the name of the faction that resides here. Completing quests will grant reputation and completing all of the quests in this zone will bring you to max exalted. This took me one more quest beyond receiving the achievement. As you progress through the reputation levels (see my blog Represent! for more information about reputation levels) you can visit Provisioner Vredigar to purchase equipment. I personally wouldn't recommend buying gear at this level but perhaps you might like the appearances. Ghostlands Questing and Exploration Video LoremasterQuesting in this zone is pretty straight forward. The main questing hub is Tranquillien but there is also another quest hub at Farstrider Enclave. There are just a few random quest givers around the zone so I have made a short video to show you where they are or you can just look at the map below which indicates where they are but gives you less information (like which quests you might be completing in the area). Tips
ExplorationBy the time I had completed all the quests in this area I was only left with two areas need to be discovered. The first was 'Amani Pass', this area hold the level 85 heroic dungeon Zul'Aman. The second area was Thalassian Pass, which is the path at the very south of the zone leading to the Eastern Plaguelands. I created the map below to indicate where each area you need to discover is located. My ImpressionsAs with a lot of classic zones, I found that quests were really all over the place. Often I would complete a quest and then get sent back to the same (or a very nearby) area. I am not sure if this is just how it is or if it was because I was getting too high level for the zone. I also feel that until the last few bosses there isn't really a major story here. There is a town and you need to help them but everyone seems to be doing their own thing and it doesn't really tie together. Even the last few quests is just 4 or so quests that get you on your way to go to the place with the major bad guy (and kill him), nothing to do with all the kill this and loot that quests you did before. That's All Folks Have you completed Loremaster? Let me know your thoughts on the zone in the comments below!
Bye for now and good luck with all the shinies!
